Just like the typical American, my bad habits of my youth (smoking, drinking, and poor diet) manifested themselves in the common maladies of middle age(ulcer, back pain, and weight gain). My doctors made the usual prescription of medicate it first, and then cut. The former worsened my condition, but I came to my senses before I allowed the latter. I began to investigate the food and medical industries. I was appalled with what I discovered that they are feeding us. I switched to an organic diet and started supplementing. I am now pain-free, ulcerless, and I have lost 30 pounds. I left the big city to find a stress-free life.

The small town I chose had no organic grocery. So, I opened It's Just Natural. Two months later, Liz walked into my store and my life. She is a transplant from Seattle, and a true believer in the natural life style and alternative medicine. Liz and I have had a great time decorating the shop for the holidays. She has even brought in a few of her family members who are musicians to entertain the customers. She enjoys straightening my shelves for me, and helping me choose which supplements to carry. Liz (a recycling tyrant) was very upset with me when she discovered that I was placing all of the trash in the dumpster.
